"just what i need," she mumbled to herself, and proceeded to get changed back into the black mini skirt she had come into the store in. she adjusted the top she was wearing so it was perfect once more, and then grabbed everything she needed, exiting the fitting room. the store was quite crowded, and she glanced around for anyone she knew. nope. she went to the line, standing there for around ten minutes before she finally got to buy her article of clothing. carrying the bag in her right hand, purse over her shoulder, she strutted out of the store and headed straight for starbucks.
with her extra hot caramel latte in hand, she started walking back down the strip, only to be knocked right on her ass as she turned the corner, latte spilling all over her. kody gasped, making a soft noise of pain, and trying to shake her clothes to get the latte off of her, to make the burning stop on her body. "holy fuck!" she wailed, pressing her lips together and glaring at the person's shoes. "watch where you're going, asshole," she stated, picking up the mostly empty starbucks cup and standing up, brushing herself off before picking up her purse and her bag. she sighed, running her hand through her hair and looking up at the stranger, glaring slightly. "you could at least say sorry, you know. that hurt like a bitch." kody rolled her eyes, standing there with her hip slightly jutted out again, crossing her arms and raising her eyebrows.

Counting down the days, the hours, even the minutes, Sawyer tried to find ways to spend his time, to make the days pass quickly or maybe even slowly, he didn't even know. In a matter of time Sawyer would be on a plane and heading over sea's where he would be handed a gun and sent to a camp/army training, before being sent into the field. He had already been through a few months of training here in the states, however it didn't give him the feeling that was now haunting his every moment. It seemed like time passed slow, however it was zooming past so fast at the same time. It was all so weird and it made the young man do strange things. He had quit his job with no warning, dropped out of college and pretty much became the rebel he never was in high school. There was no need for any of it. The job was secure until the day he left, his recruitment officer had been kind enough to talk to the college about allowing him to finish the classes online when in training, however it all seemed so pointless to him. In a matter of months he would face the same fate as his father, he was sure of it.
Shoving his hands into his pockets, his dark sunglasses covering his eyes, he headed down the shopping strip. The man had no real plans for the say, other than to grab another bottle of crown later because he was out. He was meant to meet up with some friends later to cause some trouble, but he wasn't sure he was going to, it was all starting to get old, parting, getting waisted, and waking up with a hang over, much like the one he currently had. Moving one hand out of his pocket he started to rub at his temples, turning the corner to head down another shopping strip when he ran into something hard and nearly toppled over backwards. "holy fuck!" he heard the other person cry out as he tried to catch his own fall. Normally it wouldn't have been so hard to keep from falling on his ass, however with the hangover and the unexpectance of the collision it took a moment longer than normal to regain ground.
Looking down at the girl on the ground Sawyer tried hard not to laugh. He knew the girl, in fact he had just been talking to her online just the day before. He thought about offering her a hand, but instead he just stood there, crossing his arms as he watched the girl push herself up, her cloths stained with the coffee that had gone flying when the two had bumped into each other. Smirking Sawyer took the tongue lashing she started dishing out, before the laugh finally escaped his lips "You do realize you too ran into me, if i had been any more hungover my fate would have been the same as yours babe." Pulling off his shades Sawyer licked his lips as his eyes met her glare "Hello Kody, good to finally see you in person again. I see life has been treating you a lot better than I had expected." Looking over the girls body it was clear she had been shedding pounds and she looked good. "What are the odds, we bump into each other online and now here. If I didn't know any better I would think you are stalking me" the boy teased lightly "Those stains suit you by the way, just in case you were wondering." nodding Sawyer smiled once more, waiting for another tongue lashing which was sure to come.
